About this product

A broad-spectrum digestive formula pairing betaine hydrochloride with a ten-enzyme plant and microbial blend, formulated to support the digestion of food and nutrient absorption.

  • Betaine HCl included. Each capsule contains 300 mg betaine hydrochloride, providing 225 mg betaine, to complement the enzymes.
  • Wide enzyme range. The ZyMate Max blend (250 mg) covers proteins, fats, starches, lactose and plant fibre with ten enzymes, from protease 3.0 and 4.5 to cellulase and alpha-galactosidase.
  • Plant-derived papain and bromelain. Papain (50,000 PU) and bromelain (200,000 PU) come from papaya and pineapple, and the manufacturer notes the enzymes work across a broad pH range.
  • Take as needed. One capsule at the start of a meal when you want extra support.
  • Good to know. Do not exceed 6 capsules a day. Do not remove the powder from the capsule shell and stop use if you have stomach discomfort. Seek advice first if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or if you have peptic or duodenal ulcers. The pack contains a desiccant canister: do not eat.
