Biome Shield+ by FutureYou Cambridge is a once-a-day postbiotic capsule. Each capsule contains 500 mg of EpiCor®, a whole yeast fermentate made by fermenting Saccharomyces cerevisiae, plus 1.4 mg of vitamin B2 (100% NRV). It was previously sold as Daily Shield+, and the formula is unchanged.

• What a postbiotic is. Unlike a probiotic, EpiCor® contains no live bacteria. It is a dried fermentate, and the manufacturer describes it as rich in the metabolites created during fermentation. Because nothing in it is alive, it needs no refrigeration.
• Designed for gut balance. FutureYou formulated Biome Shield+ to support the balance of the gut microbiome, giving you a fermented-food ingredient in an easy capsule.
• Vitamin B2. Riboflavin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, such as the gut lining. It also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Suitable for most diets. The capsule is vegan, gluten free and lactose free.
• One a day. Take one capsule a day, morning or evening, with or without food. The pack holds 28 capsules, a 28-day supply.
