About this product
A once-daily zinc supplement combining two chelated forms of zinc with copper, made to be gentle on the stomach.
- Two forms of zinc. Zinc picolinate and zinc bisglycinate each supply half of the 25 mg dose; the manufacturer says chelated forms do not rely on optimal stomach pH.
- Reported absorption benefit. The manufacturer states that chelated zinc raised levels 40% higher than standard zinc gluconate.
- Immune function. Zinc and copper both contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
- Skin, hair and nails. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails, and of normal vision.
- Good to know. Adults take 1 tablet daily with food; 180 tablets last six months. Seek advice first if pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication. Do not exceed the stated dose.
