Super Greens by Prime Fifty is an effervescent tablet that makes a melon-and-citrus greens drink. It is designed for adults over 50 and combines spirulina, chlorella, kale, spinach and broccoli powders with 21 vitamins and minerals.

• 21 vitamins and minerals. According to the published ingredient list: vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E and K, plus biotin and folic acid; and the minerals calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, chromium, iodine and selenium.
• Greens blend. Spirulina and chlorella are microalgae; kale, spinach and broccoli are leafy and cruciferous vegetables.
• BioPerine®. A patented black pepper extract that the manufacturer includes to help absorption.
• No added sugar. Sweetened with sucralose and sorbitol. Vegan and gluten free.
• How to take. Drop one tablet into 250 ml of water, let it fizz, stir and drink, once a day. The pack holds 28 tablets in two tubes of 14.

Good to know: Contains iron: accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6, so keep out of their reach. Contains vitamin K: if you take a blood-thinning medicine, speak to your doctor first. Contains sorbitol; excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
