Tirzide is a once-weekly tirzepatide injection from Everest Pharmaceuticals, supplied as a single-dose pre-filled syringe. Each syringe is one weekly dose.
- Active ingredient. Tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist.
- Strengths. 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg and 15 mg. The manufacturer's leaflet lists 0.5 mL per syringe for 2.5–10 mg.
- Pack. 1 pre-filled syringe = 1 weekly dose.
- How it is used. Injected under the skin once a week, at the dose and schedule set by your prescriber.
- Storage. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C in the original carton and protect from light. Do not freeze. The manufacturer allows storage below 30 °C for up to 21 days.
- Good to know. Do not use if the solution is cloudy or contains particles.
