About this product
Holland & Barrett Sage Leaf combines sage leaf powder with a concentrated 15:1 sage leaf extract (Salvia officinalis). A four-capsule daily dose provides the equivalent of 1,007 mg of sage leaf.
- Common sage. The culinary herb Salvia officinalis, native to the Mediterranean, with a long history of traditional use in European herbalism.
- Powder plus extract. 260 mg of sage leaf powder and 49.8 mg of 15:1 extract (equivalent to 747 mg of sage leaf) per four capsules.
- Split dosing. Take two capsules with your morning meal and two with your evening meal.
- Pack size. 100 capsules, a 25-day supply.
- For adults. Not intended for anyone under 18.
Good to know: The capsule shell is bovine gelatine, so it isn't suitable for vegetarians. Sage naturally contains thujone; avoid it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have epilepsy. If you take medication or are under medical supervision, speak to a doctor or pharmacist first.
