About this product
A plant-based omega-3 sourced from microalgae rather than fish. Two softgels supply 400 mg DHA and 200 mg EPA, plus 1 mg of natural astaxanthin, in a vegan pea-starch softgel.
- DHA and EPA from algae. Two softgels supply 1344 mg of algal oil, delivering 400 mg DHA and 200 mg EPA.
- Heart, brain and vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, with the beneficial effect obtained from 250 mg a day. DHA contributes to normal brain function and normal vision.
- Grown and tested. The microalgae are grown on land in filtered water, and the oil is independently tested for mercury, PCBs and dioxins.
- Astaxanthin. Natural astaxanthin is included at 1 mg per serving.
- Good to know. Adults and children aged 12+: 2 softgels daily with food, or twice daily for additional support; children aged 6-11 take 1 softgel daily. Not suitable for children under 6. Do not take with other supplements containing astaxanthin esters on the same day.
