Where 15 mg fits in treatment

15 mg is the highest dose and one of the adult maintenance doses. It is reached in 2.5 mg steps, with at least 4 weeks on each dose; it is never a starting dose. Only buy the strength your prescriber has written.

Using the 15 mg KwikPen

Inject once a week on the same day, under the skin of the stomach area or thigh (or the back of the upper arm if someone else injects), changing the site each week. If you miss a dose, take it within 4 days; if more than 4 days have passed, skip it and continue on your usual day. Keep the pen in the fridge (2 °C to 8 °C), do not freeze it, and after first use it can be kept below 30 °C for up to 30 days.

Safety
