About this product

Holland & Barrett Cold Pressed Evening Primrose Oil provides 1,000 mg of evening primrose seed oil in each capsule, typically supplying 90 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and 650 mg of linoleic acid, both omega-6 fatty acids. Each capsule also contains vitamin E (10 mg, 83% NRV) and vitamin B6 (0.25 mg, 18% NRV).

Cold pressed. The oil is pressed from the seeds of the evening primrose plant (Oenothera biennis).
GLA. Evening primrose oil is one of the few plant sources of gamma-linolenic acid.
Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Cell protection. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
One a day. Take one capsule a day, preferably with a meal. The pack holds 60 capsules, a two-month supply.

Good to know: The capsule shell is bovine gelatine, so it isn't suitable for vegetarians. If you have epilepsy, take blood-thinning medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical supervision, speak to a doctor or pharmacist first.
