About this product

Holland & Barrett Omega 3 Fish Oil is a simple one-a-day fish oil capsule. Each 1,000 mg capsule typically provides 180 mg of EPA and 120 mg of DHA, the two long-chain omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish.

What EPA and DHA are. Long-chain omega-3 fats that the body makes only in small amounts, so they mainly come from foods such as sardines, mackerel and salmon.
Heart function. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA; one capsule provides 300 mg.
A top-up when you eat little fish. Useful if oily fish isn't a regular part of your diet.
Easy to take. Take one capsule a day, preferably with a meal. The pack holds 60 capsules, a two-month supply.

Good to know: Contains fish, and the capsule shell is made from bovine gelatine, so it isn't suitable for vegetarians. If you take blood-thinning medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical supervision, speak to a doctor or pharmacist first.
