About this product

Holland & Barrett Triple Omega 3-6-9 blends fish oil, flaxseed oil and starflower (borage) oil in one capsule. A two-capsule daily dose typically provides 340 mg of EPA and 226 mg of DHA, 518 mg of ALA (omega-3), 472 mg of linoleic acid and 224 mg of GLA (omega-6), and 238 mg of oleic acid (omega-9), plus 10 mg of vitamin E (83% NRV).

Heart function. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA; a two-capsule dose provides 566 mg.
Cholesterol. ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA, so this product contributes part of that amount.
Three oils in one. Omega-3 from fish and flaxseed, omega-6 GLA from starflower, and omega-9.
Cell protection. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Daily dose. Take two capsules a day, preferably with a meal. The pack holds 60 capsules, a 30-day supply.
